Diego and Matildés Posada
Ria Maya Waterfront Lodge
Our goal is to provide high quality low impact access to the beautiful wilderness
 that surrounds us
All of our guides are certified, licensed and experienced nature guides.
We have two guides on the staff that are graduate biologists.
We have guides qualified for  fly fishing,Sport fishing, bird watching and photography trips in addition to the Flamingo Trips. In addition to Diego we have 4 English speaking guides.

We use only 4 stroke outboard motors which are quieter, use less gasoline and cause much less pollution.

We work hard to avoid disturbing the wildlife we are viewing.

Sustainable eco tourism is our most important goal.

                                 Diego Nuñez

Rio Lagartos Adventures is my family business and we are located in the Ria Lagartos Biosphere Reserve in Rio Lagartos, Yucatan.

(This is where I grew up)The Bio reserve is one of the very best nature preserves in the world and it is in our back yard.

Together with my sons Diego jr. and Jorge we concentrate on showing

small groups of visitors, Birders, fishermen, a great time .

My wife Matilda takes care of the great food part in our restaurant.
